On the 16th August 2011, a health day was held in Tung Sing Housing Association to promote ‘Stroke Awareness’. The Nurse Operational Manager, Shirley He gave the health talk about stroke and high blood pressure in Cantonese. The information of the signs and symptoms, causes, risk factors, treatment and prevention of stroke were provided. Exercise and low salt intake diet were encouraged. Free BMI and blood pressure checks were given to the audience. In total 58 people attended the talk.
