Located in China Town, the main aims were to raise awareness of different types of cancers, and provide bi-lingual leaflets about cancer information and their prevention. An exhibition stall was set up to distribute a wide range of health information leaflets including NHS smear test, breast awareness, NHS bowel screening service, healthy eating, regular exercise and healthy lifestyle and so on. Despite the heavy rain on that day, 30 people took part in the event, of whom 17 took health leaflets and accepted the free offer of having their blood pressure taken.
