‘Cancer symptoms Awareness’ Training For staff, volunteers and health interpreters on 28th May 2016, 13 people attended.

CHIC provided a Cancer Symptoms Awareness Training on 28th May 2016 for staff, volunteers and health interpreters. The speaker was Nabila Farooq from the Macmillan Information & Support Service of MCC. Nabila spoke in English and she covered a wide range of different types of cancer symptoms. Group discussion took place which generated a lot of interest. Feedback was very positive. All participants reported that the training was good and they all had learnt much.

2016年5月28日‘癌症徵狀的認知’培訓，有13人參加。

中心於2016年5月28日為員工, 義工及健康傳譯員提供一天的癌症徵狀認知培訓。是日由娜比拉·花韋用英語詳細解各種癌症的症狀。並分組討論問題。參與者十分之投入及很感興趣。對此次的培訓給予非常好的評價; 都說他們得到許多知識。

Manchester Support Forum on Monday, 30th June 2014 at 3:30pm at CHIC

This was the third time the group met together and was led by volunteers. The main aims were to provide support and information for people with HBV and liver diseases among the Chinese population in Manchester and the North West Region. The group is supported by Dr. Alison Uriel Consultant of the Infectious Disease in NMGH, the British Liver Trust Manchester and Your Tung Sing. 8 people attended the event. The group meets once a month.

曼城支援論壇會

於2014年舉辦第三次會議,由義工主持, 主要目的是給予有乙型肝炎或肝病患者支援和幫助. 這個小組得到曼城北區醫院肝病顧問醫好艾利森邱莉澳醫生及英國肝病信託的支持. 有8人參與今大會議.

The Support Forum took place at CHIC on 29th April 2014. The aims of the Forum were to: – provide peer support for people with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and people who are newly diagnosed CHB; provide information and raise awareness of CHB among Chines population. The Support Forum is supported by Dr. Alison Uriel from the Infection Department of North Manchester General Hospital and the British Liver Trust and community volunteers. The next meeting will be held on 6th and 30th June 2014 at 3.30pm.
