Parent & Children Heaton Park Walk

7th May 2011-Heaton Park Health Walk including visiting the Animal Farm Centre. In total 22 people took part of which 8 mothers and 10 children and 4 workers.
Day Trip For Older People over 65+ to Gwynedd, North Wales on 3rd May 2011. 55 people took part.
On 26th April 2011, CHIC held a community health talk about ‘Gastrointestinal Disorders(GD)’ at Wu Kau Tang Chinese Overseas Association. Dr. Roy Lie used fluent Cantonese to deliver the causes and symptoms of GD, which also included detailed explanations of esophageal, stomach and different part of bowel cancers. This health talk attracted 58 people; this included 20 people from the Sum Yin Chinese Women Association from Blackpool.
