Shirley He, the Nurse Operations Manager of CHIC gave the talk in Cantonese. She explained the causes, signs and symptoms and prevention of constipation. Shirley stressed that everyone should drink 8 glasses of water, have at least 5 portions of fruits and vegetables and fibre in their diet and exercise to prevent constipation. If participants notice of any changes in their bowel habits and find blood in their stools, they need to see their GP immediately.

是日，由中心林姑娘主講。她用廣東話講解便秘的原因、症狀及如何預防。林姑娘鼓勵每天飲八杯水、最少吃五份蔬果、多食高纖維素及多做運動可幫助預防便秘。她提醒如果注意到大便習惯有任何不尋常的改便或有血，應立即諮詢家庭醫生。

Dr. See Kwok was the main speaker. She explained in detail the causes, diagnosis, risk factors, treatment and prevention of cervical cancer in English. She also briefly talked about womb cancer. Dr. Kwok explained that it is very important to attend the cervical smear tests sessions provided. Shirley He, of CHIC interpreted the talk in Cantonese for the audience.

是晚由郭思醫生主講。她用英語詳細解釋的原因、診斷、危險因素、治療和預防宮頸癌。她還簡短地講解子宮癌。郭醫生解釋接受子宮頸片檢查是很重要的。由中心林姑娘為聽眾用廣東話傳譯。

CHIC held a health talk called ‘Shoulder Troubles and Treatment’ in Little Yang Sing Restaurant. Dr. Daniel Tang, a Consultant of Orthopedic Surgeon was invited to be the main speaker. He talked in detail about causes, signs and symptoms, various types of treatment and many types of shoulder problems in Cantonese. After the talk, Dr. Tang provided one to one consultations with the audience.

Day Trip to Liverpool on 30th May 2013. The group was led by staff and volunteers. In total 51 older people took part .

2013年五月30日長者利物浦一天遊，是日由五位員工及義工們帶隊。先到美麗的海灣”New Brighton Island” 散步。午餐於Morrison 超市。下午參觀Albert Dock, 共五十一位長者參加。

The talk was given by General Practitioner Dr. Chung Tai Chiu. He explained in fluent Cantonese the routes of transmission of hepatitis B virus and how to prevent HBV. He said that it was vital to avoid sharing needles and razors with others, having safe sex protection and avoiding blood contamination. He also encouraged to have HBV testing and vaccination against HBV for people among the high risk groups. Afterwards, the audience had a one to one consultation with Dr. Chiu.

是睌，由家庭醫生趙頌泰醫生用流利廣東話講解乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)的傳播途徑，有關乙型肝炎病毒的症狀、治療及如何預防(HBV)包括不要與人共用的針筒噐材、剃髮刀、及要採用安全性行為及避免接觸血液。趙醫生還鼓勵高危群人仕應要注射乙型肝炎病毒疫苗。講座完畢趙醫生提供一對一健康諮詢給聽眾。
